Aya> Ahahaa. I'm reporting live from Singapore right now. XD Reached home last night. Very Happy

Yeap, that was Matsumoto in the Nagano prefecture. Very Happy
15 celsius was a splendid temperature for us students though. We hardly get to experience such cold temperatures in Singapore, where the lowest we ever got was 24. 28 celsius over here is like rainy weather already. Hahaa.

Well, I couldn't find a post office in the end, so I bought you a card (from Ghibli!) and will be posting it from Singapore. XD;;

Aren't there graphics designer or someone of the sort in your company? ._.
I always thought designing things were cool. Very Happy
Yea, taking your own pictures are better than ripping some off the net or getting someone else to do it. There's no risk of copyright issues. XD

OH. NRG. Hahaa!

Anyway, yeap, I'm back in Singapore. Very Happy Send me one of your better ones then! Very Happy

Well, don't be fooled by the cover art. XD It's not really all good inside. The opposite can be said of the other doujin too. The outside might not look magnificent, but the insides are quite cool. Very Happy
You're so right about the shonen-ai and yaoi! The shop that I went to to buy all those doujins had 2 whole levels (out of 4) of yaoi.

The Gundam Seed PSP game is real fun. Very Happy I've played it with my bro's friend (multi-player) and owned them. XD
Yea, I never knew his name was Garyu too. Hahaa!

I do like to buy manga, but not to the extend like you! 20! Amazing. I never tried that before. Hahaa! I only brought back around 6 manga (excluding doujin) back.

Nay, I got manga which will never reach Singapore shores. We're very conservative here. XD

Aya's a fan of Ghibli too? Very Happy Then you'll be sure to like the card I've got you. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Princie> Hahaa! Is it difficult to get merchandise in South Africa?

Yes yes, do share your collection. This thread has been so stagnant with only me and Aya posting most the time.

PostSubject: Re: Show off your anime merchandise collection!   Wed 25 Jun - 19:17

Owkay, here I am with the long long LONG promised pics of my recent anime collection expansion (ok, that sounded ... overacted ^^'). But first, reply to your last post.

Yes, I was right ! bounce That's an extra point on my Japan knowledge grade, lol.
24 the lowest you've got ! Shocked Over here, that's already great summer weather. The coldest I've ever known here was -10° ! Very Happy Wow, talking about some large difference.

I think we can skip the part about the card, ne Very Happy XD

Nope, I'm the only graphics designer at the company. And that's cool, because it kind of makes me a unique species amongst the others. XD Before I arrived there, everything was done by publicity and graphics companies, and I can asure you, they've saved a LOT of money by hiring me.
It is ! Very Happy I love it how you can turn your creativity into something you can watch and touch.
Yep. That, and the fact that you're sure the picture will be the way you want it and the way it fits in the layout you're making. ^^

Very Happy HI-NRG's by the way also a musical term, known in the world of electronic music.

Happens often with normal manga too. You see a cover art that looks really ugly, but when you take a look inside, you're wowed by how good the drawings are. That's the tricky thing when you buy manga or douji's via internet.
That's sure a lot of shonen-ai and yaoi. I think many girls over here would faint by seeing so much. XD

Cool ! We now have our very own professional female Gundam pilot, should I say, our very own Cagali here at the forum. Which Gundam did you pilot, btw ? ^^
It's a funny name actually. Then again, Klavier is too. XD

There are times that I come back with only 5 as well Very Happy Problem over here is that most of the better manga I buy, get released at the same month. So there are months that I nearly buy no manga at all, and then there are months that it really takes me ages before I get passed the store's check out, heheh.

Aya is indeed. Aya especially enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle. Such a lovely movie.

Allrighty, time for the picies ! I hope I haven't made too much spelling mistakes so far. I'm both too tired and too hyped at the same time after yesterday evening/this night. I went raving with a friend, so it was late when I got home. But we had a hell of a time. Luckily I had a day off at work today Very Happy XD
Anyway, the pics ! ^^

Let's start with one of my Saiyuki collector's boxes I promised to show you. This one's from the second season (episodes 26 to 50). I picked out this one because it has better artwork than the other box, but basically, they're the same.

Here's the outer box:

Inside, there's two other 'boxes'. The one on the left features a bonus DVD and a booklet. The one on the right contains the DVD's and folds open:

Little detail pic of the flap featuring Ririn and my beloved Kougaiji. The image where he's holding the crystal ball is my all-time favourite image of him, but you already knew that Smile :

And then we have the inner box folded open. As you can see, it's quite a large and deluxe box. And I have several boxes like that in my collection (Chrno Crusade, Peacemaker Kurogane, Scrapped Princess, ...)

Next, we have my latest bought artbooks. On the left Sousei no Aquarion. Really, amazing printing quality. the colours truly blast into your face when you open the book. On the right my Samurai Deeper Kyo artbook, featuring drawings by the mangaka (no pics from the anime. Actually, the same goes for the Aquarion book):

And the back of both:

These two came in a week ago. On the left we have Saint Beast. It's a rather large book, featuring pictures that accompany the drama radio stories, and some full page images. On the right, my Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto (what a name to write Very Happy) official TV Guide. Very very lovely artbook, feature gorgeous images, character information/outline pages, and episode description pages featuring tons of screenshots:

And the back of both (Yuda to please you Wink ):

And last but not least my Shounen Onmyouji official TV Guide, also featuring multiple really lovely images. A true pleasure for a die-hard Guren fan like me Razz . As for the rest, it also features the same things as the Bakumatsu book:

Since the back isn't spectacular, I took a pic of one of the spreads inside. Sorry for my finger ruining the pic. XD :

Next in line, my Shiki figurine. I bought him because he's part of a set of two. I already had Akira, so I was like "Why not buy Shiki as well". He's cool, AND, he has a katana ! Very Happy :

And here's a detail of his face and torso. Kotobukiya products are always so nicely crafted. I'll try to remember taking a picture of the lovely box he came in, next time :

Last ones for today, my 1/144 scale Wing Gundam.
I'm dispalying it in its bird mode, because it looks best that way. As you can see, the low price reflects itself in the lack of colour match with the original. BUT, it's fully transformable, and that makes this little Gundam cool anyway :

rear view:

From above, nicely showing the structure of the wings:

From below, showing the typical torso of the Wing:

And since the previous pictures suck so much Very Happy, here's a more artistic one. I've held it in front of the window, so that you get the impression it's flying. And I like the 3/4th silhouette effect. Luckily, my finger's nearly not noticeble:

If you should be wondering, the pictures were taken in my parents bedroom, because it's the most sunny place of the house during the early afternoon.

There's more to come, but I still have to take the pics, and this post is already becoming huge, so the rest will be for another time (still have two more little figurines, my Saint Seiya Myth Cloths and my finished Kyrios kit to show !). So I'd say, stay tuned, already enjoy these pics, and sorry for possible stupid spelling mistakes (my head is still spinning from those glow sticks from yesterday Very Happy XD Very Happy XD)

At long last, the photos! And the same can be said of for my post. Razz

Matusmoto Matsumoto. I kind of miss that place; the clean mountain air, tall trees and all. Sad
Summer?! Hahaa! Summer here is like 33-36 degrees! Have you ever experienced such sweltering warm temperatures before? XD Dang, Belgium seems like a nice place now. XD

Whoa, that makes you an invaluable employee of the company! It's great to be the only one who knows; everyone will be dependent on you! Very Happy

You're quite the knowledge book in Electronic Music huh. XD HI-NRG, High Energy~ XD

And here is where scanlations come in useful. We can preview a manga before purchasing it!
Yeap, the place is heaven for fangirls. Fanboys have the fair-share over there too! There are loads of hentai stores. XD It's pretty easy to tell what stuff a shop sells. Just look at the shoppers. It's really quite obvious; one shop would have totally guys and another girls. Whatever happened to girls who read hentai? Hahaa.

Hahaa! It's an honor to be counted in the ranks! I usually pilot the Aegis, it has strong firepower and quite a lot of ammo too. The MA mode is a plus as it's got that gripping thingy Aegis does. And I don't lose a lot of points when, in case, it gets shot down. Justice is so risky to use. XD
Klavier... Indeed it does. But I find him cool all the same! Very Happy

Those publishers do know the perfect time to release their books huh. Hahaa!

Howl's Moving Castle! I love that movie too! Apart from the fact that Kimura Takuya voiced Howl, the story's awesome too. The way they kept the more important elements from the book and changed a bit of the storyline for it to be so angsty and all-so-moving. I love it.

Spelling mistakes? I haven't spotted any, but then again, I'm tired myself too. It's 2a.m over here right now and I woke at 6a.m yesterday. XD

Kougaiji!!! I haven't seen that image of him at the back before. ._. But hey, it's amazing still! Very Happy
And yes, that's a really long line. ._. 7 discs for 25 episodes? Isn't that a bit too much? o-o

Yes, I can tell from the cover of the Aquarion artbook. The colours are really bright. XD

Saint Beast!! <3 And YES! Yuda! He looks so angsty there. XD
Oooh. I usually call it Bakumatsu for short. I have yet to memorise the full name of the anime! Hahaa! I like that blondie with the gun (forgot his name, it was quite a while ago when I watched that anime XD;; ) He looks so suave. <3

I love young Seimei. Good thing you took chose one image with him! Nah, your finger isn't really ruining the picture. It's barely noticeable. Very Happy

Is the Katana 'draw-able'? (Is that such a word in the first place? XD:; )

I thought that image of Wing and the sky was photoshopped! D:

The table-cloth was the first thing I noticed! (It is the table-cloth, right? XD;; ) You took your stuff into your parents' bedroom to take photos of them? Surprised Did they ask you what you were doing there? XD

Hm.. I don't think I've got much to share nowadays, just bought a couple of manga. Oh! I bought this GSD character analysis book. I'll wait till I've accumulated more stuff . XD

PostSubject: Re: Show off your anime merchandise collection!   Wed 30 Jul - 16:02

Yes I know, it's always a long wait to see me post some new pics (damn my busy life).

I can very well imagine that. And the hottest I've ever known was 37° when I visited Rome. The hottest we had over here was 31 or 32 I guess.

It does make me a valuable part of the company stock yes The only problem is that I'm having so much people asking me to make things I'm drowning in work. ^^'

Yeah, well as an electronic music freak, I have to be equipped with a large database in my head. XD

True. That's what I did with Blood+ and Saint Seiya the Lost Canvas. Since I liked the scanlations, I decided to buy both series.
And boys who read yaoi ? XD But it's a fact that you can easily know which store sells what by looking at the type of buyers. Over here the difference isn't really striking, since hentai and yaoi are sold in the same stores (sometimes even on the seinen shelves.

Aegis is a nice suit to pilot, for the reasons you mentioned. It's logic that the 'bigger stuff' like Justice and Freedom are a lot more risky to use. If not, everybody would be piloting only those two Gundams.
Klavier's cool indeed. Fancy hair style ! Too bad he gets to be the victim of yaoi'esque situations so much.

You bet they do. I went anime shopping last week, and I got back home with two bags full of manga ! I was really grabbing one after another at the stores. Very Happy

Ah yes Howl. He's the wet dream of a lot of fangirls. XD I btw have the manga. It's actually 4 manga size books with screenshots from the movie. It's a really nice collectible.

In that case I won't mind any mistakes. To be honest, I've stopped checking for spelling mistakes a while ago. I only check my RPG posts and welcome posts to new members.

You hadn't seen it before ?! I thought I knew for sure I had already posted a screenshot of that scene some time ago. Anyway, yeah, it's an awesome shot of him, ne ?! ^^
That is too much indeed. And, the annoying thing is that you always have this boring LONG intro before the menu appears. So when I want to watch lets say 10 eps in one day, there's almost 20 minutes of useless intro in total to watch

All the full colour images inside the Aquarion artbook are a real blast of bright colours. that's what makes it such a special one to have.

Actually I bought the book solely for the pics featuring Yuda. (and Lucifer) But in the end it turned out to be a great book in general, especially since it tells the entire story.
Well it took me a couple of ages before I could memorize the entire anime name. Oh and the suave blondie with the gun's name is Sakyounosuke Kanna. He's my favourite male Baku character too ! He's absolute class ! There are some really nice pics of him in the book (and a lot of screens)

There are several more great ones featuring young Seimei. I've scanned one, but I'll have to look for it (since my folder got all mixed up after my Acer crashed).

I think that's a rather correct word Very Happy And sadly no, the katana isn't 'draw-able' ^^, unlike with my Rai (Lamento) figurine, where both his katana and dagger are !

Nope. I managed to get that effect by 'toying' a bit with the camera's functions. I'm still, after all this time happy with the result.

Bed-cloth, but it's not as if it's that much of a difference Smile
They never even knew I did. I took those pics when they weren't at home, sneaky me Very Happy

Allrighty, now that this is done, I can move on to posting ... NEW pics and NEW stuff !!!(in a new post though, 'cause this one is getting looooong XD, and I have to leave for training)

PostSubject: Re: Show off your anime merchandise collection!   Wed 30 Jul - 17:48

Finally, here are the long-awaited pics !
Pics were taken in a rather hurry since the camera was running on a nearly flat battery, so they're not the best (but at least they're better than the previous ones).
Pics were taken in our garden. ^^

Let's start with the pic of the box in wich my Shiki figurine came (posted last time). Kotobukiya products always come in really splendid boxes, and this is no exception.

Next comes my Trigun figurine, from the Story Image Figure Ex series. The character's name is Zazie the beast. I'm not a Trigun fan, I didn't even watch the series. I only bought this fig because I like the pose, and I could order it for free with the points I had collected from other orders.
The funny thing is that the figurine is actually smaller than here on this picture. XD

The previous two were 'old' stuff, the next one is a new addition to my collection since last week !
It's a Byakuya (Bleach) action figure (about 18 cm tall). So yes, Byakuya is my fav Bleach character. ^^ I think that's no surprise Very Happy
I was surprised by the good detail level, considered the fact it's an action figure. There are no ugly joints. The only little negative thing is the large Bleach logo on the display foot.
Different poses are possible, and I chose for this one. The katana can be taken out of his hands and placed differently.

Diffrent camera angle I tried out. I really love how it turned out. Too bad this pic is a bit on the darker side compared to the others. It was the last one I could take on Monday because we had a thunder storm heading our way.

I have a Grimmjow trading figurine too, but the pics I took were all blurry, so I'll have to put up an image from the net.

I reckoned, now that I was busy taking pictures, it'd be nice to show some better images of my Freedom kit. A lovely scale 1/100 kit deserves lovely images after all. First up, a rather basic picture, but seen the size, it was the only way to get Freedom on the pic entirely. Never mind the dusty display foot. I forgot to clean it up ^^''''''

For the next picture, I wanted to trie out something different. I took the picture from this low angle to make it look like a pic taken by a war photographer (like Miri was at the beginning of Destiny). Also, this way, you get a really good idea of how impressive the Freedom is.

The fight is over, Freedom is leaving the battlefield ... Very Happy

I'll split up my post in different parts.

PostSubject: Re: Show off your anime merchandise collection!   Wed 30 Jul - 18:32

Tanth has been waiting for this a long time ... my sclae 1/100 GN 003 Kyrios !
It's been about a month now I think since I put it together. It's a pretty easy kit, compared to my Freedom.
I'll start by showing the lovely boxart, which I adore for its vivid colours. ^^

Alle ! cheers

Since it takes some time to transform Kyrios into flight mode, here's a detail pic from the side of the box showing Kyrios from different agles.

Here's the cover of the construction booklet, with a nice image of Kyrios in MA form. I personally find the booklet a bit more confusing than the one to build Freedom. But in general it's ok.

Here's the back, featuring some really nice photo's of the kit in different cool poses. Normally I was going to display it in the same way as the top image, but since the display foot has to be bought separately, I had to stick to a more classic pose Sad
The back of the booklet also shows the MA form nicely. I tried it out, and I can assure you that it looks as great in real life. ^^

The booklet also features a centre-fold with outline drawings of Kyrios and these lovely Alle doodles. As number one Alle fan, I can asure you I nearly came (XD) when I opened the booklet on this page. Very Happy XD Especially the Halle doodle kicks ass !

Ok, enough of that. Let's head over to the kit.
Like I've already mentioned, I had to go for a rather classic pose, or in other words a pose where Kyrios doesn't tip over. Seen its aesthetics, I can asure you it's harder than you'd expect.
I display the shield in claw mode. That way it looks as if Kyrios is ready to poke down a couple of Flag's.
A bit - is the fact that the kit looks a bit flat without some extra paint. A lot of the panels are plain white, whereas big parts should be in dark grey. I had to solve this by taking pictures with bigger shadow contrast. In the end, it turned out looking rather good.

Just like with my Freedom, I wanted to have some "action" pictures of my Kyrios. Again, I've used the war reporter angle to make it all look a bit more impressive. Also, notice the different 'shining' parts, whic is a really cool feature of these 00 scale 1/100 kits.

"Uh ow ! Looks like the Gundam's pilot has spotted me." XD

Detail shot of the head and torso. Notice the brightness of the eyes when there's sun shining on them. Also notice the soft gray stripes on the right (camera right !) of the torso. This is actually another cool feature of the kit, since these move along when you change the position of the arms, hips and legs !

Kyrios from the back, nicely showing the Gundam's high heels. You also get a nice view of the shield in claw mode, and the structure of the legs, with the GN boosters. Sadly, the GN drive is nearly invisble on this pic.

And a last one showing Kyrios with its shield in normal position. The shield is actually a really neat part of this kit.

More in the next post ! Smile

PostSubject: Re: Show off your anime merchandise collection!   Wed 30 Jul - 19:32

I think one more post will be enough to show the rest of the pics. These are featuring my beloved Saint Seiya Myth Cloth collection. These are rather expensive, so I've tried to take some pictures that are worthy the money spent.
I'll post in the order I bought them.

Let's start with Gemini Kanon. Kanon was my very first Myth Cloth, so he will always remain that extra special to me. I can assure you I was surprised by how heavy his armor is (and how hard it is to put it on when you do it for the very first time in your life). In the series, Kanon was one of my favourite characters, so it was a logic choice I came home with him first (hahahaha, sounds like a date XD)
Compared to the two other Gold Saints I have, his armor and hair look a bit more flat, but I don't really care. Smile

I love that little grin on his face, just like in the series.
As you can see, the display feet are a bit annoying when you take this type of pics (it should be so much nicer without), but if I take him off, he either tips over or his legs slide open Very Happy

Kanon from the back to show his amount of long wild hair I can only dream of having it myself. On a side note (@ tanth): This is about the amount of hair Kuro has now that his hair got trimmed for summer. It's still longer at the front though than Kanon's.

After Kanon came Phoenix Ikki. This Myth Cloth is from the v3 series (version 3). Negative point: very fragile compared to Kanon. A lot of the parts are in plastic and tend to break off or lose their paint easily. Despite that, the Ikki figurine is really cool, since you can put him into some really neat poses, especially when you click on the wings.

A nice detail are the phoenix tails. Also on this pic, you can clearly see the claws at the back of Ikki's feet, as well as the brightness of the armor and wings.

From another angle. On this one, you can see yet another nice detail: the bracelet around his left (camera right) arm.

Number 3 was Garuda Eaque. From all the Myth Cloths I currently own, Eaque has in my opinion the most spectacular armor. Partly because of the wings. Unlike with Ikki's armor, these wings can't be put in much different angles. But it's not really needed, since they look best pointing upward.
Some other awesome features of Eaque's armor are the 'horns' on the shoulder plates, the massive chest part, the structure of the impressive hip protectors, and ...

... the awesome arm and leg protectors, who look like demons. This is the detail I like most. It's what makes Eaque so different from all the many other Myth Cloths.
Also notice the massive claws on his feet !
Despite how it looks on these two pics, the armor is completely light black.

Thanatos is the most impressive part of my anime collection, and costed the most. I had to pay quite some money for him, but he's absolutely worth it. It sure was a stressy moment putting him together, with all the moving parts, each one covering another, pfffffff.
Sadly, only one picture turned out ok. But the 'good' one luckily shows Thanatos in full glory.
I have his wings spread out to the maximum, resulting in a width of more than 30 cm ! Even with the wings not spread, it still remains as impressive as can be.
Logically, Thanatos is the most precious part of my collection, and I'm really proud to have bought him Razz

After Thanatos came Scorpio Milo. He's the shorty Very Happy But, he's the Scorpio Gold Saint, and since I'm a Scorpio, he means a lot to me.
Notice the complex stucture of his armor, as well as the large (ans sharp Very Happy) 'horns' on the shoulder plates.
Normally, the stinger tail is supposed to be attached to Milo's helmet, but since I don't put on the helmets, I decided to attach the tail to his back. And I really like the result ! ^^ (must be my tail fetish Very Happy)

Notice his bright blue eyes, sarcastic smile, and again the Scorpio tail.

Well, it's getting late, and I'd like to hit the shower since I'm all sweaty and smelly from training. I still need to post my pics of Saga. I'll post them tomorrow when I get back from work. ^^ Enjoy these in the meantime.

Aaaahhhhh, that shower was really so good ! Very Happy
I'll try to have this post written in record speed time, 'cause they have predicted thunder storms for tonight.

Like I said, I still have to show my newest addition to my collection, and that's Gemini Saga.
It may be hard to believe after having seen my Thanatos and Eaque Myth Cloth, but Saga is so far my number one favourite 'member' of my collection. Maybe it's the fact that I have always wanted to buy Saga after I had bought Kanon. It took a really long time before he got available again, but last week when I went anime shopping, he was there, in my favourite anime store. I can assure you, I grabbed him in a flash as soon as I saw him (there was this other collector who was spotting him too, but I was faster *evil laugh*)
As you can see, Saga looks quite a lot like Kanon, which is logic of course ( Rolling Eyes ). But the Saga Myth Cloth has a much brighter gold armor, and Saga's hair is much more vividly blue than Kanon's.
Also, his somewhat sad (and in a way determined) expression really makes you feel sympathy for Saga.

What also of course makes Saga my big fav is his long wild hair (yes, it an old cliché of mine, I know XD). It's exact the same hair as Kanon's, except for the fact the blue is 10 times more vivid, and is 'fluttering' in the opposite direction.
As you can see, Saga is the only one that manages to stand up without his display foot ! So for the following two pics, I've taken him off his display, resulting in this much more realistic pic. Also I adore how the tree in the left upper corner turned out to look like a traditional Japanese castle in the distance. It's as if Saga is standing looking at it.

Another one without the irritating display. Saga is facing his alter-ego. This pic nicely shows the brightness of his Myth Cloth, the strong stare of his eyes, his wild lion-like hair, as well as the dagger he's holding. I'm really glad the pic turned out the way I wanted, that is everything around Saga looking unsharp.

Here we have Saga's alter-ego. This is a feature that makes the Saga figurine a really worthy buy. You can put up both Saga in his armor and his alter-ego in these clothes at the same time. The other way round is possible too of course.
The clothes are as you can see made of real tissue and have real stitches ! Also notice the functioning belt, the neck pendant with the bright beads and the chest-shoulder plate with the massive spikes !

And that brings us to the last picture. I'm also the proud owner of the first two volumes of the Saint Seiya the Lost Canvas manga. I was really excited when I found out about the French release. It's really a fantastic manga series, really worth the buy, even if you're a total stranger to the Saint Seiya storyline.

Well, so far the update of my collection. I'm really starting to run short on place to put everything, especially with my manga collection having crossed the border of 600 !
I'm already waiting with impatience for the articles on my wishlist to get released:

Artbooks:
- Amatsuki Emaki Kinkato illustrations
- Animedia IRA CORE -Illustration Collection
- Gungrave archives
- Prince Animage Visual selection 02
- Saiunkoku Monogatari Emaki part 02
- Sengoku Basara2 Heroes Official Complete Works
- Togainu no Chi -True blood - First Edition Official Fan Book

Figurines:
- Gurren Lagann's Kamina
- Gurren Lagann Small Trading figurines, if possible Viral (comes in blind boxes, so I'll have to randomly pick)
- Saint Seiya Myth Cloth - Io de Scylla (was normally being released today, but the waiting time is extended a bit)
- Saint Seiya Myth Cloth - Pegasus version 4
- Saint Seiya Myth Cloth - Poseidon Camus (normally comes out in September)

Of course a load of new manga and volumes I'm still missing.
In the meantime, I'm also continuing my mission to find two figurines of dark Schneider from the series Bastard. They got released by Kotobukiya several years ago and aren't available anymore, sadly. So if any of you would happen to know a way of still getting my hands on one, I'd much appreciate your help. ^^

I just realized how disconnected I have been from all my friends. I haven't went forum-ing in a week! D:
You've uploaded the pictures at long last! bounce

The Tougainu no Chi box does look great. I've seen lots of Tougainu no Chi stuff around these days. Is there like some new release of the game or something? I feel like playing the game. XD

Hahaa! Why didn't you just get something else which you do watch with the points you've got? And well, the figurine doesn't even look small on the picture. o-o

I like Byakuya too! Though I'm not really a fan of the series myself (kind of got bored of it really quick), I played the Wii game to know enough. XD You've always been one to like the cool characters. XD

That low angle picture of Freedom does look somewhat familiar. Is it one of the poses from the show itself? Dusty display stand. XD Speaking of display stands, they've got those that looks like the Gundam or MS is docking. Pretty decent, but I still prefer those that came with the 1/100 kits.

Your Kyrios looks awesome! D: Those pictures are really well-taken. And the weather looks pretty decent. XD
The head looks real detailed. I love the eyes. Did you paint it on, or used the sticker that came with it? Maybe it's the photo, but it really doesn't look like stickers.
Have you tried changing it to MA mode?

Those Saints Seiya figurines are dazzling! Are the armor metal or plastic? I can't imagine the weight of them if they're metal! Must cost a lot to import them.

Your buy list looks really long. XD I missed Animage Prince 2, which, unfortunately, means I'm probably never going to be able to get my hands on them anymore. Sad Do tell if they have any nice pictures in them!

Yeah, my forum'ing has been on a rather slow pace too lately. ^^'
Yes, I knew (and hoped) you'd be excited about them FINALLY being on. It took ages to wait for them after all.

It sure is a lovely box. If a figurine like that would be produced over here, I'm sure it would never come in luxurious box like this. I don't know if there's a new release, but TnC is indeed quite around lately. Then again, you always see at least one or two TnC images on imageboards.

Dunno why actually. XD After all, I'm glad having it. Besides, with most of the orders I make, I earn enough points to get something for free each time. The next order I make, I'll be able to get me two manga for free ! Oh and I think it's about 10 cm tall. Might be a bit less.

Cool ! Bleach is far from my favourite series too. I have several volumes of the manga. Only some with good action, and the ones featuring Byakuya and Grimmjow for at least several pages. The rest are indeed a bit boring.

Might be that it's a pose shown in the series. Like I said, I acted like a photo reporter on the battlefield, risking my life taking close range pics from the Gundams. Very Happy
Ah yeah, those displays you mentioned are really cool. I think it comes with a 1/60 (or maybe a 1/100) Strike. But normally they're available separately too.

Thanks ! *biiiiig hug* I'm really glad you like it, as well as the pics.
The weather was indeed very nice that day. Maybe a bit too hot, since I was soaking wet with sweat from dragging all my Saint Seiya's outside Very Happy But when you look at the pics, it's hard to believe a little later, the sky was pitch black and filled with lightnings ...
The head IS real detailed ! Very Happy The eyes are just the stickers that came the kit ! But, I used some neutral coloured finisher I still had left to make them a bit brighter. Still, for kit stickers, they are very shiny !
I tried out the MA mode, yes, and it's really cool. Only problem is that the kit comes with no display Sad That's why I'm not putting my Kyrios in MA mode.

They're my little darlings, the prides of my room. Really, I let no one else touch them ! XD Most of the armours are metal, making them quite heavy. Kanon, Saga and Eaque are the heaviest ones. The ones from more recent series have more plastic parts. Sadly, since they're a lot more fragile, and the paint of the plastic parts gets dirtier and easier damaged than the paint of the metal parts.
The price ... Well since they get imported in great number, the price is rather ok for imports. Besides, they are really worth their price.

Btw, I went picking up the newest addition to my Saint Seiya collection, Io de Scylla. I have to say, this new series is truly superb, despite the use of more plastic parts. It sure was quite a "mission" to get Io's armor on, seen it's asymetric shape. I'll take some pics of him as soon as the weather's good.

It is ! And it gets longer each month silent
Is there really no way to get your hands on a copy ? It's odd, since here, Animage Prince is still not available yet.
Sure thing. If I manage to buy me a copy, I'll share the nice pics. ^^
Oh and that reminds me. I won't be able to give you reviews on PiQ, since it already no longer exists. ADV has stopped publishing it due to the problems they had earlier on. Rolling Eyes
