some say that cagalli and athrun would FINALLY break up in the movie.. aside from that.. they say that lacus will die and kira will go crazy..

hope not! damn it.. if athrun end up with that damn meyrin.. Mad

The way Destiny left off, it's really kinda hard to tell what actually happened. lol...From what I saw, Cagalli put the ring away in a special drawer next to her bed, so she didn't get rid of it, which is proof to me that this is merely a consensual hiatus on both their parts. Cagalli needed to take care of her country and Athrun had some loose ends to tie up back on PLANTS...that hug that they shared in Final Plus also confirmed that they still very much love each other. They are just like any other couple really, they both feel like they have to grow up a little before making the commitment known as marriage.^^ However, I would very much like to see a wedding for them at the end. God...is this movie ever gonna come out?! lol...or even any new news about it for that matter?! lol...This writer is seems to procrastinate even more than I do...so if that's the case, then i expect the movie to be epically good and not just a bunch of random flashbacks. lol...Even if we see a wedding with Kira and Lacus getting hitched, Lacus throwing the bouquet, Cagalli catching it and then having her and Athrun stare at each other and blush....*giggles* yeah...that would even be cute.^^ I'm getting ahead of myself though I think. lol...but I would still like to see that. lol

The last piece of news on the movie was about the writer getting some chronic disease or something. It's actually in the thread on the movie. I haven't heard any other news about it other than that and I'm getting impatient. Sad

I won't like it too, if the movie was a bunch of flashbacks. If so, they might as well call it the Ultimate Special Edition (since all Special Editions were about the series XD )
I hope the movie does end somewhat like what you fantasized about, HotaruZala! XD Or something to that effect. At least give Asucaga a proper and good answer. Very Happy

Haven't heard any new news either. All I've seen are some random images every now and then on mecha related imageboards, but nothing that really makes you know anything more *frustrated sigh*
If they don't hurry up with the movie, they will risk that the second season of Gundam 00 that gets closer by the second, will make more people again forget about SEED.

Those are some really good plotlines you've come up with, Hotaru-sama. It'd be really great if we would get to see something like that in the movie. Lets indeed keep our fingers crossed it won't be a flashback of a flashback of a flashback of a flashback. But seen the many critiques both series and the Special Editions got, I don't think it'll be yet another compilation.

Me too, I think that Athrun and Cagalli still love each other. It's not because they don't constantly hug or kiss (anymore) they broke up. Just look at Kira and Lacus. In my opinion, they both have things to sort out, and as soon as all are done, they can focus more on their relationship. Athrun in ORB uniform already seems a step in the positive way, so my hopes for AsuCaga are high.
